FNB JoburgArtFair celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2017, making it the oldest art fair on the African continent. Since 2008, the fair has become an incredible platform for contemporary African arts with initiatives such as the Featured Artist, FNB Art Prize and curatorial focuses by medium and region. Over 200 galleries from three continents and 17 countries have exhibited in the last nine editions of the fair.
The FNB JoburgArtFair audience is comprised of top international and South African collectors, curators from non-profits, institutes and museums across the continent and abroad. The fair attracts high profile media, industry insiders and curious art enthusiasts. Over the years the fair has hosted groups from Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Art Paris, Performa, Zeitz MOCAA and the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
